ACOTA

IVEGLA is being associated to the current bid for the renewal of the ACOTA (Africa Contingency Operations Training and Assistance) program for the coming 2015-2019 period.

This program plays an important part in the US cooperation activities in Africa, especially in two major crisis areas in francophone Africa : CAR and Mali.

In CAR, the US government is supporting the peace process with a 100 million USD in 2014 and a 428 million US program in 2015.

In Mali, the US government has already committed more than 115 million USD in support of MINUSMA and plans to fund the force up to 173 million USD in 2015.
